Target Group and Entry requirement:
The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is designed to meet the current and future competency
development and qualification needs of new and existing personnel working in a broad range of work
functions and activities within vocational education and training. It provides a clear set of benchmarks to
support both initial competency achievement and ongoing staff and professional development. This
qualification will also be beneficial for:
• individuals seeking to undertake training and assessment qualifications and units of competency
• individuals undertaking professional or staff development
• individuals seeking to extend, enhance and complement existing qualifications
• RTOs and staff intending to deliver and/or assess the TAE10 Training and Assessment Training Package

Duration: The program is delivered in three (3) clusters over a period of 5 days. Delivery will take the
form of Face-to-face workshops over the duration of the course. Order of delivery and assessments may
vary depending on experience and needs of the applicants. Depending on group / individual progress, an
additional day for assessments may be required.
